8 months ago, when I came home from the poconos, I came home to a open toilet, trashed medicine cabinet(/opening mirror) and old fruitfly cultures kocked down. My tangerine female had escaped. After a few weeks of looking, I was sure she was gone, but kept every toilet closed since. With now many more females, I've still been looking for breeder females. While praciticing with my father for a benefit concert, he stops us and says "what snake is that?" My new tangerine female, the crazy one that bites hard and is tough to deal with? No, my escaped female in my basement for 8 months, through NJ winter and no food and little water. Just thought I'd share...I can't believe she turned up. Does anyone think this is a rediculous turnout?

I had a similar thing happen with a black milk. He's over 6' in length, and escaped from his container in my 3rd story attic. I figured he'd be easy to find but I was wrong. I figured he got behind a wall, so I expected to have a terrible stench in the house one day when he finally died. After 3 months, my daughter found him outside on the front porch as if he were trying to get back into the house. I don't know how long he had been outside, but it had been in the 40s at night during that time.

I had a very similar situation:
My tangerine dream Honduran, escaped a few months after i got her, when she got out she was aprox. 20inches long, when i found her about 8-9 Months later she was a little over 3 feet long (and hefty)... i guess the individuals in my building were pleased for a while (less mice)

Here's a pic of her (the darker of the 3) before she got out: note they are all around the same size.

And here a few days after i found her(again the darker of the 3)

I guess if you want to bulk them up, let them escape for 3/4 of a year. lol
