Hey I'm in Kansas City also. Actually I am right inbetween Leawood and Overland Park. I am a junior at the University of Kansas so I live in Lawrence most of the year.

I used to use Bassett Cricket Ranch: http://www.bcrcricket.com/

I used them because they were the only place on the net I coudl find where I could order 250 crickets. Most places on the net has a minimum order of 1000 crickets or 500 if you are lucky. However, they can only ship 2day Air (which is 9$) to the midwest, so the total comes out to $15.00.

I just made a order with this company: http://www.cricketfactory.com/

I ordered 1000 crickets for 10$ and they have cheap Priority shipping for $4.50...so my total comes out to $15.50, the same as with the other place but I'm getting 3x as many crickets. They told me they have a live delivery policy so hopefully I will be using this company for awhile.

You just have to make sure someone is home to get the crickets when the PO guy brings them to the door. I don't even know if they can leave it on the doorstep, and even if they do, the crickets will overheat and die.

Good luck. If you want to let you know how my order comes (shoudl come Weds) just let me know and I'll post how successful it was.

BTW what kind of cham do you have? I have a 3mo old sunburst veiled.

I'll look into bolth. I'm in blue springs most of the time, but my actual house is off 435 and wornall. 1000 crickets is a chunk at a time especially when these little guys need small crickets... Maybe we could split an order of crickets...
