Turtle concerns

blueboyroy Jun 04, 2005 07:30 PM

My friend has a red eared slider and I just want to be sure if it is okay. She says that it has had some water come out of its nose today and out of mouth and also has watery eyes often and seems to blink a lot. Is this normal or might slider be getting sick?

It seems weird to hear that the turtle has water coming out of his mouth and nose and has watery eyes. These turtles live in the water most of the time. Is your friend sure that the water is running out of his nose and mouth and has watery eyes?? Sounds strange to me.

Like every question, we all need to know what the setup of the turtle is....

Proper Tank size, lighting, diet....give us the whole 9 yards...

Can you give some more info on the living conditions of the turtle.....
