Average size of a female crested?

Piglet106 Jun 04, 2005 09:16 PM

Can anyone give me an average size of female geckos....I have 2 females and they have stayed @ 32 grams for almost a month now, does that seem normal? Any input would be greatly appreciated....

well 32 grams is basicly the minimum weight for a female to start breeding and be considered an adult.
if u are worryed about the weight over breeding then its not to big a deal yet

a full grown girl should be about 40-60 grams. at least with my some what limited experiance.

also dont worry about the weight staying the same for so long, everyone gets a growth spurt at some time or another, but u might want to beef up their feeding a little.

It is fairly normal (not a big deal), some of my cresties will stay at 7-9 grams for like 6 months then shoot up to 30-35 grams in a month or so.

They should be fine as long as they don't start losing weight.

Ok, then I will stop being a worry wart.....I also have 2 juvenile geckos that are 3 months old and aren't moving off the 13 gram mark, so I am gonna just not worry about them either.....Any comments are still welcome though...
