Well i went back to the petshop again to check up on Sagitarius and his care. I think these people are really starting to dread seeing me walk in. LOL So i go look at Sag and well something did not look right about his mouth. It looked umm redish and gooey. Only way to describe it. SO i go find the lady in charge, and said i think somethings going on with his mouth. She looks surprised and says oh it looked fine this morning. Well then she says "oh he just ate" thats what your seeing. Im like uh what did he eat? She responds with CATFOOD. Well needless to say i started in on her about why that is not a good idea. Then the owner of the store hears our convo and butts in and says "well ya know we all eat things sometimes we shouldnt". So i told her yea but the differece is a piece of cake wont kill us. That catfood will eventually kill him. UGH And this is a petshop. So i was a bit irked with them by this point and let them have it about his diet, bedding, cage size, and everything else they are not doing right. Only thing i see that looks ok is his lighting. Just very frustrating. So i had printed off some info for them about diet and think i finally have her convinced he should be eating collard, mustard, turnip greens etc. NOT Romaine lettuce mix, which is what hes getting now. Well this dinky town we live in our grocery store doesnt carry those, so you have to make a 20 min drive to do it. She actually ask me if i can start picking up his greens. GRRRR Sort of irked me. Which now that its summer im growing all ozzys greens so i dont ahve to make that drive. So i will probably take his extras he cant eat down to Sag. Im just so irked at these people, they are a pet shop and should be more responsible in the care they are giving. I wish so bad i could take Sag, hes a awsome iggy with a wonderfull personality, but with my boy Ozzy thats just not possible. But i figure i can at least try to see to it poor sag gets good care. Just thought i would vent my frustrations about this. Hope everyones Iggys are doing well. Take care Tami

GRRRR! another big difference is that we KNOW what isnt good for us, we CHOOSE to eat cake, french fries, fried _____(insert any word here), etc. there are too many idiots out there.
