ribbon snake diet

i got a ribbon snake a few days ago and the pet store was feeding it fish everyday so now my snake is eating fish everyday he is pretty heathly and VERY active

Yes, as long as the fish are live, it's is just fine. My ribbons been flourishing for years on a diet strictly of goldfish. He refuses all other types of fish, spits the poor twitching things back out.

I've read many places that dead fish and chopped filets are bad because they lack certain nutrients that are found in live.
