Any luck as an individual seller?

dukeherper Jun 05, 2005 05:32 PM

I'm just looking for some advice here. I am being forced to re-locate and money and space have become an issue. Therefore, I need to get rid of most of my snakes. I have 7 altogether. My question is to breeders/dealers and individuals alike....have people had any luck selling snakes on here if they're not a well-known breeder? All of my snakes are healthy and I'm willing to let them go at good prices, but I don't want to waste my money to buy an ad if no one wants to buy the snakes from a nobody. Is it worth it?

Thanks,
Adam

I've only ever posted a few snakes on here, but I sold each one within 24 hours. Of course, I was selling snakes that aren't all that common. If you just have corns and kings, there might be a lot of competition so you will have to have good prices.

No ive got bps, red-tails, an albino burmese and amazon tree boas. They're great snakes and I wish I didn't have to sell em, but life changes sometimes. I'll probably go ahead and set up a classified. Thanks for the advice.
