You can get Live silkworms/cacoons from most reptile insect breeders. Although it is a touche subject, ZooMed also makes Can'OWorms products(that i use). I do not dust the silkies.

Silkworms are very nutritious, in fact i have heard they are one of the most nutritionally complete feeders. Waxies are ok as treats but shouldn't be used as staples because they are so fattening. They are good for fattening up sick or underweight individuals and gravid females.

I feed Drayko silkies and crickets (and still working on greens)

I get my silkies from www.silkwormfarm.com, if you wait until friday there is free shipping. 200ct with food for $19

I feed him the silkies in the morning mixed in with his veggies then when i get home from work give him dusted crix and take out the veggies he didn't eat.

I just gotta find out how to get him to eat more greens!

Theodore for a while was eating greens and veggies like crazy, right along with crix, I would buy frozen mixed veggies and though them out and he would gobble them up. now he seems only interested in eating every living thing in sight...

yeh same here. I got a little tricky the last couple days though.

Made a water bowl out of a rock water dish i had. fill it with about 1/2" water put some green on the top of the water and put silkworms ontop of the greens. He seems to love it. Eats some greens too.

I know some beardies who's food intrest seems to wax and wane. Sometimes they are veggie gobblers, and other times they love their buggies!

A couple things you could try though....

you mentioned you fed frozen greens, have you tried any fresh ones? Maybe the fresh greens would be more appealing. You could try mustard, dandelion, or collard greens, or escarole or endive. Also, sometimes bright colored things seem to really attract their attention...you could try shredded carrots, shredded purple cabbage, red, orange or yellow peppers, or a variety of edible flowers.

If you dont feed fresh and only feed frozen veggies you need to know that they lack Thiamine(sp?) and this will need to be supplemented into their diet to prevent a deficiency.

Good luck!
