There are several different types that people like. I have a RainMaker Jr. that I've used for years with no trouble at all. "Best" will depend on what's important to you in your particular setup. Some people want a pump that can run dry without damage, or one that will water more cages all at once. Some want do it yourself cheap, some want higher pressure, some don't. Some need to hook the thing up to a hose bib and others need something plumbed into their indoor house plumbing. Some want finer droplets, some want larger ones. Misting for one cage is easy and you will have several options.

The Mr. Moisture system is probably your best bet. It is capable of misting several cages, and is the lowest priced I believe. I think it is also the exact same pump as the Rainmaker Jr., so you might as well save $60.00. I think Wetworks site is www.Wetworksms.com.
