I had a female lay 8 eggs about 3 days ago and she's still got five inside with an obvious bulge at her vent where one looks stuck. Looks like I'm vet bound...

Been there- Done that.....

I had a choice in my area between a vet that would surgically remove the eggs at 3 days if inducing further contractions did not work in 8 hours AND one that aspirated the stuck egg. I went with the apiration treatment with good results. There were three stuck in mine and wtihin 40 hours after apiration, she passed them normally. She has since laid two more clutches over the past two years with no problems...
