Is there a secret to taking good digital pics?

tcdrover Jun 06, 2005 02:03 PM

It seems like no matter what I do their heads are out of focus.

I've tried keeping everything in the background very close, but
that hasn't worked. I want to try outdoor pics with natural
light, but it's been pouring every day around here lately.

I WILL get a better camera soon, but it can't be just the camera
because all my other pics look just fine. It's something about their little heads.

I usually turn on the macro setting which allows me to get clear shots.

A trick I sometimes use ids to zoom in on the specific detail you want best in focus to trick the camera into setting the focus on that. While holding the focus, zoom out and take the pic you want.

You definitely have to use the Macro setting for close ups, doing that combined with a steady hand, and you've got yourself a clear shot.. Practice always helps too..
