Lost 05 ch female

thomasboxertko Jun 06, 2005 04:08 PM

Ok last night i checked on my little female that i was treating for mouth rot and this morning i wake up and she is gone. I had to have left the rubbermaid top unlatched. I need ideas to catch this houdini of a snake. I have searched the snake room 5 hours and nothing. My room is pretty empty so hiding is limited. There is about a half inch gap under the door so she may have exited the room. Please help me out. I thought about cooling the house down alot and putting a heat pad under a shoe box with a hide in it. What you think. Thanks Thomas

Iv'e heard of some people putting plastic shopping bags on the floor. In hopes of hearing it crawl across then at night.

...put out hides?

Keep checking all the same places over again too.

good luck

Putting down plastic grocery bags and listening to rustling sounds is a good idea. I'd suggest you do NOT lower the temp of your home dramatically, though. More than likely the snake will slow down and possibly go into hibernation, getting a nasty respiratory infection before it would find the basking spot you put out for it.

Best of luck.
Joe
