Decided to head out to Del Rio and beyond for one night of hunting (Saturday night) and possibly the first three hours of darkness on Sunday. I decided not to hunt Sunday, but Saturday, I hunted Langtry dirt at sundown, saw one atrox (twice). He just would not stay off the road. Hunted East Langtry and West on 90. Saw nothing other than a longnose on the other side of the road that Tom and Maureen were spotlighting, only to find out some other herpers let it go at that spot just a few minuites before. This night was basically a wash out for me and concludes my herping for June. Congrats to Steve Boyd on his second alterna in a few short days. He got one Sunday night, and had collected one a few nights before that. A guy from Dallas (cannot recall his name), collected three this past weekend. Come on coach, you are lagging behind. Good luck to everyone else and keep posting.
