Feeding in Shed???

amoeba14 Jun 06, 2005 09:52 PM

Should I offer my ball food while he is in shed? Are they reluctant to feed?

Thanks,
Tim

All depends on the snake. I have 2 that eat while in shed but they nail their rats the minute I open their enclosure, the other 18 do not eat while in shed.

I presented him with food and he showed no interest at all. Put his face on it and turned around and went in his hide. I'll try again post shed. Thanks for the help.

Offer it to him, some will eat some will not. Doesn't hurt to try. If he is in full blue tho, he may not go for it but if you wait until his eyes clear he may eat more readily.
