BADLY INNJURED BP....HELP!!!!

My Female BP, was bitten badly all over the tail while shedding in which i didnt know after it shedded the scab came off and didnt heal all the way and is now badly pink!!! IT DOESNT look or smell infected but looks bad and the tip of tail is hard and crusy will the tip fall off and it wont eat? what should i do!!!!!!!!! thanks...mike

Put some Neosporin on it and monitor it. If it looks infected, take it to the vet.
My snake had a mild burn on it's belly. I monitored it, put neosporin on it...and 1 shed later she was fine.
Good as new.
They have awesome healing capabilities.

It will probably take about 5-10 shed cycles before it looks normal again. I bought a female that was only fed hampsters and was freshly missing about 1/2 inch of her tail. She is fine now, but it took a long time for it to scale back over and she was extra sensitive about it. Definitely treat with neosporin and if it starts to look infected, go to the vet.
