Dragon's gotta do what a dragon's got to do

I though this was cute, this is one of 8 special needs dragon we had come in the past few weeks. She has gone from 34 grams at arrival on July 1 to 52 grams July 11, she is almost a year old and 11 inches.

But she is small.. it is a bit hard to understand that she is nearly a year old.

My Olga is also quite small - she will be one year in September and she is only 13 inches. Hard to know if she'll grow much more since she has something wrong with her bones/skeleton... She is still a cutie though!

The picture below is taken just a couple of weeks ago. She still looks like a baby.

Even with the problems those poor things have they still look extremely healthy. You guys must have put a lot of work into them. I'm sure they are in a better place now. Good luck with them. Gees I wonder why they refused to grow like a normal beardies? Do you know what caused this, or might have caused them not to grow?

four of them I think it is their genetic line and lack of UVB as the owner is knowledgable and was supplementing with Vit D3.

the other four I think they were not fed enough, no UVB or much supplements.. the one pictured is in this group

4 of the eight have grown in lenght in those 10 days, so I am hopeful they can make up some of the loss growth, their failure to thrive is why there were sent here, all have gained a lot of weight, I am very happy with their changes so far... they are all very lovely dragons and are all eating great!

I had not see Olga for some time, she looks good except for her leg and that looks better than it did. Its a major accomplishment when hatchling with problems see their first birthday!! They and owmer had to overcome so much to get there!

COngrats, you have done well by her

I haven't seen a picture of her in a long time. She is looking wonderful. You must be proud.
