He's Still hangin' in.

My little premie is still holding on. Number 2 is out, and looks much more fully developed than the first. Numbers 3, 4 and 5 are pipped and resting. I am desparately looking for temporary housing for the little buggars.
I will be leaving out of town on Wednesday evening for 5 days. My babysitter has never dealt with hatchlings, but is willing to do anything.

Dancing for joy, but with fingers crossed!!

( I heart baby snakes! They are just too cute!)

Is your herp room at a constant temperature? When in a jam, you can keep your hatchlings in little tupperware, yogurt, butter, whatever containers with some small vent holes poked through. You can even keep them all in a small aquarium together if really stuck, but I'd seperate for feeding. If keeping together I'd add more layers of paper for substrate so they all aren't forced to hide together. The main idea is to keep them warm (82F works)and slightly humid at first then a water dish is fine. A thermogradient is important, but at first is of secondary importance and can be left out.
