Green Tree Python Cage... pic

SHHAWKE Jun 07, 2005 12:01 PM

here is an idea i kinda stole...

i just mounted on a wood frame and used a piano hinge for the plexi... i will not use a piano hinge again... it does not require that much support...

i used a normal floor vent for the back so i can control the air flow...

also put cock all the way around the inside rim of the cage and outside edge of the vent...

i am going to build a rack for thses cages because i have several of these cages and i need a way to store them to save space...

LOL. You didn't steal it.

I agree.

Shiloh, I think you meant to write "caulk". Freudian slip?

One cheap way to do this is with PVC pipe and the fitting used to make patio furniture. Cheap and you don't waste much material.

LOL... hold cow... i cant believe i screwed that up... lol

thanks for the idea on the rack... i have 4 cages build right now and i have not tested my temps yet... i am letting the cage defume...

i might just take advange of all my wall space... i may hang them on the wall directly... the building has a ladder like u woudl find in a library or al wal-mart so you can get real high... so if i did that i woudl allow more room for more cages and more snakes... lol...
