dwarf caiman enclousure filter...

BIGTANK Jun 07, 2005 12:31 PM

I´m going to make the waterfall and filter for this, and I was wondering if maybe the waterfal tub( wich is about 1 x1 x 1ft) could work as a good filter just with bioballs... this came from the fact that dwarf caimans do not waste in water, they make it on land, so the filter doesn´t need to be that powerfull.... it just has to filter the water with some fish (gambusa, molly or gupys)

what do you guys think???

thanks
Rick

You can use one of those pre-made waterfalls and use them to make a biological filter. What you have in mind doesn't sound like a bad idea to me.

good luck!!
