BCC or BCC/BCI Intergrade?

tcdrover Jun 07, 2005 01:54 PM

I've got a male BCC that I bought a few years ago to mate with
my female Guyanan. The problem I have is that I thought it might
be an intergrade BCI/BCC mix and I'm still really not sure.

He's grown like a BCC, slow. He's now much bigger and much, much
better looking than those old pics below, but his head is still
kind of small for a BCC I think. He has some amazing color
that started to show up after a year or two. The other thing is, he is completely calm and docile more like a BCI than a BCC.

It might be nothing. I'm curious what any real experienced BCC
breeders might think about his appearance. I'll post newer
pics tomorrow. Thanks....................tc

Looking at that head, it looks like a cross to me. But what do I know??

Looks like a BCC to me.

Based on looks I would vote BCC

Head shape is not the best way to tell a BCC from a BCI. I'm going to say it's a BCC. Unless you have any reasons to think it's a cross. If you still feel it's a cross then sell it to me!

I have the same problem with a boa I picked up at a Pet Shop...
My guess is BCC...for yours and mine..
