Can i give frog larvae to my leo girl?

My vet recommended me to give frog larvae to my leo gecko.He said its a good source of vitamin A and D .Before i put some gyrins inside my girls water bowl i would like to know whether leo geckos like to chase an eat small fishes and wether frog larvae are safe for reptiles.thanks or any reply.

i know very little of odd things like this but i cant imagine a leo liking ot hunt fish. they live in a desert. so i doubt there are many fish around

Wild amphibians are typically parasitized. If any of the parasites carried by the tadpoles were capable of infecting your leo, you could end up with some major health issues. Even if your leo did eat them, I don't think that I'd want to risk it.
