Green Grass Snake Question (OPHEODRYS AESTIVUS)

mr_phew Jun 07, 2005 04:50 PM

Hello, I'm in the Minneapolis/St Paul area of Minnesota. I'm looking for a breeder of green grass snakes (opheodrys aestivus). If anyone has any info on a good breeder, please post a reply or email me (mr_phew@yahoo.com)

Thank you for any help you can offer.

as far as I know this snake is not being bred with any regularity. The problems with breeding them have to do with, one, the availability of cheap wild caught specimens, two, they are poor aclimators, and three, they are generally short lived, about three years. Check the small terrestrial snake forum.
