has anyone ever seen these for sale? I know there are strict exporting regulations in australia, however there are some aussie species out there. thanks in advance. cheers mate

You can find them in bars and such down under. Sometimes even stateside, unlike the Thorny Devil which is very much protected and can not be possessed without a permit no matter where you are.

I started to do a websearch to see if it was just another lay term for the Thorny Devil!!!geez it's been a long time since I was out! good one though man.....I fart in your general direction for that!!!

When I was in California I saw a guy at one of the local festivals that had some. I have no details on the why's and hows. I do know that folks have been arrested for possessing them.
They are very cool though.
