What is the weight of your snake? That would help quite a bit. All my hatchlings I've gotten I started on either adult mice or equal sized rats, my smallest baby I got was 65g she took a small adult mouse with no problems. I keep them on rats that are about the size of a jumbo mouse ~50g until they are 1000g, although at 500g I will offer two of those rats if they will take them. At 1000g they are offered 200g rats and have no problems, that is what I feed my adults. I have had my snakes take 200g rats though at 500g (on an empty stomach) and they eat it but then don't eat for a month so I offer 1/2 that size and they eat every week.
