Macklot's & a Carpet in the same cage???? help!

mybuddyherky Jun 07, 2005 10:37 PM

Ok.....I have a 5 foot Macklot who has a very good temperament, he's bigger than in the photo....but obviously has a ton of room in the cage there.......now what are people's thoughts on 1) a carpet (irian jaya i think) getting along w/ the mackie, and 2) housing both adults in this cage (it's approx 40 x 18 x 18)......

Suggestions please!

While I wouldn't have kept them together in the first place, NERD did and hatched out "Carplots." A Macklot's X Carpet, so I guess they could be kept together. However like I said I wouldn't.
