Hmm...sry, might be a dumb question, but what species of candoia is a waiego?? Ive never heard of them before, and I have a male, that looks almost identical to your striped female, and I always thougt it to be a C. carinata carianta!!!

As far as I know and have been told they are the three C's from one local, waiego island. They also have no problem with rodents even my small red male

Just wondering, were yours wild caught adults and all took rodents immediately or they all eat rodents now after being switched?

John Apple Jun 10, 2005 12:33 PM

John: I think I recognize those boas as I took care of them for a day or so about a year ago. Have yours bred yet? Mine bred and the momma is gonna bust any day now.

Dan
I saw copulation with the striped female and an aztec striped male, the red female bred to the red male[he is small but horny]
so I am waiting

Well lets keep in touch to trade some different blood lines when you gets yours to drop. My momma is separated now in a critter cage. I noticed that you mentioned one that stays in the branches a lot. My gravid one goes into the branches to get the heck away from the male who is always on her. He eventually finds her in the branches and hooks up. I hope he will turn to another female but he really likes this big gal.
