277 Alterna from tonight

rak Jun 08, 2005 12:29 AM

A long time in the making. Found my first alterna at 9:16 this evening. Found at base of cut while walking the south Picnic area. 30+ inch female.

Here are a few other west TX specialties from the past couple of weeks

That's funny, but I never really thought of it that way. I'm sure that it still must be better and more fun to find one. We have eastern kings and milks, and I have not found any of those yet. We also have coastal plains milks here, and I can't find those either. I will someday! After you found your very first one, then what? Kingsnaken

That sure was a nice snake buddy. I am glad that you finally found that one after all of your years of searching and even more happy that I was there to see you celebrate. I guess we can now burn the "alterna cape" and throw it off the Pecos Bridge!! LOL..
See you soon man.
Nathan
