Paradox Genetics

bayzden Jun 08, 2005 06:28 AM

I was hoping that someone might be able to give me a bit of information concerning Paradox inheritance. I was looking through differnet photos of morphs for the Boas and seen Paradox in the Albinos. I spoke with Ralph Davis about this, and I was wanting to know if anyone else has any input concerning the method of inheritence, or is it a hit/miss gene? Is it unstable?
Thanks for any input.

I was just about to post a question as well. Is a Paradox born fully spotted or can it happen where you have a few black scales that continue to spread during the life.

I ask because I have an albino here that has what apprears to be black patches in very small areas, about 5 of them. I was wondering what that is and if it was a possible paradox. They appear to be very small patches, so I was wondering if it will continue to increase in size and dark color.
