leopard tortoise mucus from nose

jeanette74 Jun 08, 2005 06:44 AM

My tort has never had any mucus come out from his eyes or nose-the last few days Ive had him in a large plastic container outside so he could enjoy the fresh air-last night I picked him up to look at the bottom of his shell and when I turned him rightside up he snorted some musus-clesr-out of his nose-this was the only time Ive seen this-hes eting and drinking fine-should I be worried-any advice appreciated

One snort isn't something I would worry about. If it starts blowing bubbles from it's nose or has a runny discharge fron it, It will be time to have a vet check.IMO
