Red/Tangerine Fantasy frog morph?

gonexenopus Jun 08, 2005 08:25 AM

i came across an add selling what looks like a bright red pacman frog with black spots, and some orange thrown in too. beautiful frog and i've never seen one like it! i was totally WOWed! BUT what is the thing? is it just a high-red C. ornata? will it lose its coloration as an adult or retain the high red markings? i can get a pic of it for you. let me know what you think.

oh, also, what is a fantasy frog? is it a hybrid of the C.ornata and the C.cranwelli? thanks

rachel

It is a hybrid of C. cornuta and C. Cranwelli. If you're going to get a horned frog and want something exotic, please don't support the hybrid trade, get yourself a captive bred C. cornuta.
