wow.. thats pretty interesting, kind of a reverse paradox albino.. a 'paradox normal' i guess.. how strange though, the way everyones always thought about it the albino gene cant have an effect with only one copy.. thats just too wierd. Nice one!

Looks sort of like a 1% paradox to me...cool. Any albinos in the clutch?

Let's see a close up of he white/yellow areas!

Congrats on a cool snake!

Christy

There were no albinos in the clutch.

I will get some more pics up after she sheds and eats. I don't like to screw with the hatchlings before they eat.

When I say Extreme Paradox, I mean Instead of you having less normal color you have just the reverse, More Normal color and less albino...Does the spots on the snake look ALBINOish? They do in the photo. Or maybe you could call it a reverse paradox albino.... Just my thoughts. Thanks David

Were any albinos produced in the clutch?..........that looks like a "spot of albino" on a normal snake...........very whacky!!

NEWReptiles Jun 08, 2005 04:19 PM

There were no albinos in the clutch.

Two years ago I backed up a het albino male with a pastel male when this girls mom was bred. In that clutch was a very strange looking pastel that I held back. The pastel looks normal on the top half of its body, but a large portion of its side has no patern at all, this goes up her side more than halfway.

Who knows, something to toy with over the next 5 years.
