Go to this link and read this article. It has all kinds of info in it about the ovulation swell as well as other kinds of breeding info. It takes much longer then a week for boas to court and mate though. After reading let me know if you have any more specific questions.

very good information. So she's more likely not ovulating.
Just like with any reptile I've bred, the females take on water weight before they ovulate, the so called "pre-ovulation swell". Once they do ovulate, it is very pronounced, unmistakable in appearence.
