Granite Balls

chondrodemon Jun 08, 2005 07:34 PM

What is the purpose of granite balls. They have those few spot on the side that most people would not even notice being different from a normal. The prices for them are not that high, but why pay more. When I first heard of granites I was thinking along the lines of granite burmese type pattern, not a few little spots. To many people wanting $$$ out of the animals and not the true love of herps.

The granites seen so far are only heterozygous for the gene. There is the hope that the homozygous version will be even more stunning as well as the combo factor already seen.

That pic by jbrant was enough to convince me of the potential. That was a big improvenemt over what I had seen so far. Very sweet looking
