i know this is nothing special but could it be a high yellow.

In the yellow bands is that a black color or an orange color? If its an orange/tang then the baby should turn out very nice. It they are black coloring in the yellow, looks like it will turn out to be a normal.

i just went to take a look. the middle band of yellow on the rised bumps its a bit orange and at tbe base of the tail its quite orrange. inbwetween the bumps its kinda black. its changes since its shed tho. teh blak bands have gone morepurple with a couple of bits staying black. i assume begging to turn into spots and at the back of its head the first band of yellow has ome black spots now. i know its nothing special althoght i pays $60-70 im in the uk where they arnt bread the same as in the states. so more expencive and also less mporphs around. so i was wondering any chane of it being high yellow? il get a better pic posted soon

dunno i gotit from a pet store. and no ive been bashing cts most of the others i like. i just think cts look waaaay too unatural i dont like the realy brigh cham morphs either.

im not worried i realy like normals id mch prefer one to a ct any day. but i was just not sure if it was high yellow r not. when i got it the yellow was so bright it just made me think. i love it either way i was just curious

What do you mean by unnatural? How unnatural is the head color of a Bald Eagle. Or stripes on a Zeebra?

you say do i bash cts becaus i cant get one. well basicly i cant get one. well if i can it would be very hard to get one i liev in the uk. the only uk morphs ive seen are albinos. but i wouldnt want a ct even if i could get one. u know the first cts were wild caught but they wernt caught quite how they are bread now. i just think it looks ott. but that is just my opinion like you all said. i can see how they are impressive i mean i think they are impressive but dont like them. but just my opinion

I sure hope it is a normal because it would apparently "suck" if it was any kind of morph.

Greg was correct about the carrottail and Tangerines was found in Wild as well! The only thing that are not natural is the baldy but can occur in wild in few dedces years later. Bascilly the morphs in captive are possbile in wild but wild takes more time for the natural in wild to produce matution. Once it appears and others are likely possbile hets in an dedce in wild. Only reason they are brighter is that it is done through slectivebred and not mean it is unnatural.

i just think that it looks too garish. tangs are ok. its just hte cts i dont like. just tooo much. i know nobody agrees with me. i can see why you like them ish cos it is impressive. but isnt selective breeding more unatural than genetics?

I'm sure it may be different in the UK, but most of the normals, like yours, that you get in pet stores are the result of someone else's selective breeding or morph experiment/project. They sell the normals and others they don't want to the pet store.

I've been given leos that look normal, like yours, and we've found out later (by accident) that they are het for some crazy looking morph. I think its really facinating!

By the way, I'm from London (by way of California right now) and we absolutely DO have all the morphs in the UK. And you're absolutely right -- they are more expensive...but they're still around.

Well its not my falt. eveyr othe rplave ive seen in the states with leo's that dont have every morph but normals must have normals too.
