Do all turtle species have different looking eggs or the same, because i'm not sure if my eggs are snapping turtles or another species. My uncle said they are snappers, but i don't know if he saw the mom lay the eggs.

Snappers lay round eggs as well as the softshell turtles. Most others lay an elongated egg.

Okay thank you. Then they are snapping turtles because I don't think softshell turtles live in NJ.
