hey, i have a fairly new rhino. i thought it might be the same problem as another guy on the forum but it seems like his cuban is tame.

what it does(since he is not used to me and runs) he goes to a corner of the tank and deficates. i dont know if i'm literally scaring the [bleep] out of him but he has only gone one other time on his own ( ihave had him for a week and a half). maybe i'm keeping him regular? i dunno,but i handle it everyday. I was just curious if anyone else's has gone through this phase.

how long have you had him? when taming i found the best way is to go reeeaaaalll slow. start out by just letting him get used to you around the cage without touching him. when he is used to that start by putting your hand close to him but not touching. then slowly touch and increase touching over time. then try picking up. the key is to gain his trust. not overpower him. he sees you as a preditor. this could take months to accomplish. hope this helps
