Question about red tail boas.

I just bought a columbian red tail boa cb baby.And i was wondering if fed right and everything how big can a boa get in its first year? like 3 foot or more?

It depends on the snake. Some snakes will grow faster then others. I have three boas who are very close in age (like a month of each other). All are a year old. They youngest is about 3 feet, the second 2 feet, while the oldest is 2 1/2'.

I think the most a boa can grow in a year is about 1-3 feet. Like I said, it really depends on the snake.

i got my crt back in nov 04 and he was about 6-8 inches at that time. he is now about 2.5-3' long. of course, this guy hardly ever refuses a meal and will even eat while in shed. i cant tell you a standard growth definite, all i can tell you is what mine has grown.
