Hi all!
Things are in full tilt at the moment, which is why I haven't posted.
My chameleons are at my new residence, even though I haven't officially moved myself. Bernie's spending most of the day there, so she figured it be best if they were where she is. Ditto the rabbits! Dogs and cat go tomorrow. Beardies are in boxes, waiting to be moved today. Same for my spineless buddies (crickets, silkworms, superworms, fruit flies, roaches, mantids, etc, etc...). The OFFICIAL move will be tomorrow. That's when the moving van pulls up and my computer and phone systems make the transition.
My mantid oothecas both hatched this week. I'm having to scramble, looking for prey items for them. I have some fruit fly cultures going, but not quite ready at the moment. The silkworms have spun their little cocoons and are now awaiting metamorphisis.
ATS is in town, in case anyone cares! That's some sort of tarantula show, at the Ramada Inn off the 17 & Cactus... I'm hitting the place up tomorrow, look for feeders for the mantids and supplies.

Hey, the ATS (American Tarantula Society) convention always sounds like a great time. I sometimes post on the ATS forum (their yahoo one - great folks with lots of knowledge. For WEEKS after that is about all anyone talks about - that's usually when they lose me for awhile - jealous I wasn't there

Chameleon Help & Resource Info

This will be the move into my new house. I have space again! Woot!!!
Of course the mantids chose THIS time to hatch. Just a couple days before the ATS Show, and just before my FF cultures are ready for harvest.
ATS does sound like they have fun. Scheduled field trips, talks, etc. etc. Wish I could go!!!
Funny thing- They moved the ATS convention. Will be first time in Phoenix. They have 'seller's suites' set up- meaning the vendors will be selling some goods straight out of their rooms! Sounds a bit odd to me. But they also have a show scheduled for tomorrow and Friday. I'll definitely go tomorrow.
Hrmmm... field trips.... I wonder what sort of fauna they will collect, if any...
