A question of size....

ramanth Jun 09, 2005 03:47 PM

When I was at the vet, I could of sworn they told me Syth was 5 ounces in weight. I saw that you have all been talking in grams so I used a conversion table and 5 ounces = 141 grams. O_o

I know that can't be right because Syth is far smaller than Dave's gecko and he was concered that his 26 gram gecko was underweight.

Should I call the vet and ask again?

well, he did say that it hasn't grown since he got it in feb. a 5 gram crested would be sized at about a 2-6 month old crested ( depending on diet, growth rate etc.)
i could easily see it weighing 5 grams, especially with the growth that it had.

well if it is .5 oz.....it works out to be a bit over 14 grams, that's pretty light.
