A little Jiggly......

Sojourner Jun 09, 2005 08:55 PM

The term was coined by the Boaphile I think regarding the way a certain pattern anomaly looks, and this girl has a touch of it, among other stuff... :D

I have shown some pics of this girl before. I think she is a little lighter in these pics. She is one of my favorite pastels from our recent litter.

Thanks for looking!

looks very good but i have to ask something . Woouldnt the term "Jiggly" be the same as Aberrant?

aberrant

adjective

Straying from a proper course or standard: errant. See correct/incorrect.
Departing from the normal: abnormal, anomalistic, anomalous, atypic, atypical, deviant, divergent, irregular, preternatural, unnatural. See good/bad, usual/unusual.

just a interesting spin to rename a exsisting abnormal aberrant pattern to "Jiggly" and then say " the first to Coin the term" he just simply calls a aberrant "Jiggly" not aberrant thats all nothing new to that .
but none the less still a beauty

one of the best back-handed compliments I have ever read.
You must have had to search through more than one thesaurus to find all of those synonyms.

I do not mind the colloquialism...."jiggly" though.

Either way, VERY nice animal, Jesse!

nothing "back handed" denny i was just simply making a statement . it is a NICE snake no doubts and im not taking nothing away from that. I just think to call a aberrant patteren boa "Jiggly" and asa coined name is no worse then if i called my fully striped femaled a "jungle" and shes at this point is just a striped boa that hasent proved out . IF it proves out will icall it a Jungle ....NOOOOOOO. So nothing Backhanded was meant just simply STATING a fact that a aberrant boa can be called jiggly but to coin the name jiggly to descibe a pattern of aberrancies i think is misleading to ppl.

would you call a Jungle a " chainlink boa" if you knew it was a jungle to coin out a new name ?

Used in some of Jeff's ads was "Giggly". whatever that was supposed to mean,I have no idea? mild aberration & random minimal connectivity of a couple of dorsal markings is pretty normal in just about every variety of boa I've ever seen,or,worked with including locality types...Very nice looking snake Sojourn! congrats on your success this year.

I should not have said coined. I should have said first used in regards to a boa. I am not saying that she is all that and something new that I will call the Forever Boas jiggly morph. She is just a nice abberrant pastel female from two known pastel bloodlines.

My meaning for the term jiggly was used as an adjective to descibe the way a certain pattern anomaly on her looks..... Just like circle-back, ladder-tail, striped, aberrant, pretty, ugly, or amazing.

As a matter of fact there are all kinds of adjectives like smart-ass, inconsiderate, and rude. In your signature you speak of how you treat your customers the day before. Well, yesterday I was wanting about a thousand dollars worth of cages from you. Ironic isn't it.
