Goblet's Still Goblin, 18 months old * Pyxie frog

PHEve Jun 10, 2005 11:43 AM

Hes getting quite large to say the least! I had to TRY and hold him in one hand while taking the pic, he RUNNITH over, LOL

Hes a trusting fellow when held as he has been held for brief periods since he was the size of a quarter.

I do not feed him any LIVE critters other than bugs,(large crickets) and superworms, and nightcrawlers. Think I will give him silkies also for size.

Hes doing well , I hand feed him much of the time, and hes SNAPPY but seems to know my hand from the meal!

Goblet, a growing young froggie

If your asking if alot are sold as LARGE adults, then no, I do not see them much. But I often see the babies, and they grow quite fast!

A few months and ya have a handful of frog, Hhehehe ! They are pretty COOL

I was at Busch Gardens Tampa last weekend and they had a big Pixie there. I think it was at least 6" around. It was in an awesome looking enclosure too.
Unfortunately I didn't have my digicam because it was raining. But, I'm going back again before the end of the year and I'll take some pics.
