South Bend, Indiana: A South Bend pet owner needs help. Her pet iguana scaled a large tree and won't come down.
The reptile is in a tree off of Dubail Street after it climbed out of its cage in a nearby backyard.
The owner called the Fire Department, but they can't do anything because they aren't licensed to handle it. Pet Refuge and an area tree service said the same thing.
So, until they find someone who can get the iguana down, the lizard will just have to hang around and wait.

South Bend, Indiana: A South Bend pet owner has been reunited with her beloved iguana, a story that had everyone around Michiana talking.
Thursday, an iguana became stuck in a tree after it escaped its cage in a nearby backyard off of Dubail Street.
The owner called the Fire Department, but they couldn't do anything because they aren't licensed to handle the reptile. Pet Refuge and an area tree service said the same thing.
After hanging around for the last three days the now famous pet iguana is finally back home thanks to the help of one South Bend man.
When Brendan Fisher heard about Tiffany Dobrzynsky's pet problem he wanted to do something to help. Fisher said, "I know how frustrating it is when the other services won't help."
So Fisher took time during his lunch break to use a boom lift to go up and rescue Dobrzynsky's pet iguana that she affectionately calls Speedrow. “The iguana didn't scare me as much as the wires did. You can see all the wires in the way," said Fisher.
Despite the wires, Fisher went 50 feet up in the air to rescue Speedrow. As he approached the iguana, Fisher says he was a little worried. "Its legs were dangling over the limb. It took off running, but I was able to get closer and got her by her tale."
Out of the tree and safely on the ground, Dobrzynsky couldn't wait to embrace her beloved pet. "She's like my baby, like my kid. I'm so happy that guy actually took the time on his lunch break get up there and get her out of that very high tree," said Dobrzynsky.
