It’s about time for another meeting. This one will be held at my house in Genoa City, WI. It is right on the IL/WI border, northwest of Chicago. It will be held on Sunday, July 10 at 1:00PM. This meeting will have the usual cookout with food and drinks, and frog and supply trading/selling/buying. We will give the usual frog room tour. It looks like there will be a lot of new people as well as the usual showing up. Everyone is welcome.

Best of all, we (my brother Brian, friend Larry, and I) will be showcasing the DVD of our recent vacation to the Bocas del Toro islands of Panama. This DVD will include plenty of digital footage (~30 min) and a slide show of about 300 pictures. The video and pictures include habitat representation, male calling, males fighting, tadpole transportation, all out courting, and most all other day-to-day frog activities. In this, there are 10 different types of poison dart frogs, one of these being an undescribed morph of Dendrobates pumilio. Come to the meeting and check it out, I guarantee you will not be disappointed. For anyone interested, we will also have copies of the DVD available to purchase for a nominal price.

Just like the other meetings, if you are interested in attending, send me an email at khoff@bradley.edu. I will compile a list of the people that are interested, and a week or so before the meeting I will send out an email chain where I will post any details like the address and what we will have available for sale. I then encourage everyone to respond to everyone on the chain saying what you will be bringing to trade/sell and what you are looking for. If you are not currently on the MDG email list and would like to be send me an email. I hope to see a lot of you there. It should be a great time.
