You traded off that high gold blushing female yellowbelly for this? Hmmmmm... I'm not sure I would have made that trade. Nice snake though.

I didn't really want to trade, But I had to weigh the odds and once I did that it was clear that I should trade. Here were the odds.

My female yellow belly: Really Nice pattern and color, 04 baby that only weighed 320 gram, Picky feeder on Mice and only ate 1 rat in her life, It is also gonna take me 2 years at least to breed her, Females worth more than males. i probably left something out.

The male Yellow belly; Nice looking snake, but not as nice as female, 560 Grams breeding size(produce my own female yellow bellies) The belly is in my opinion nicer, Hope to get a late 2005 clutch.

So that is why I did the trade, Because it was a breeder size male yellow belly. Hoping to get baby yellow bellies this season late 2005. plus I know the guy I traded it to and he is gonna hook me up with babies. Thanks david

I guess it would be a tough call either way, is your new male from a proven line? I know your female was not but she looked like she had a lot of potential. Personally I would have had more fun trying to prove her out even though it would have taken longer. At least you know where she is and have the opportunity to get some of her young in the future.
