Mega-congrats on your alterna success. Thats a gr8t forum, I njoy the passion & collaboration that grp. of hunters seem to share. One day I need to go over there n see what all the excitements about...I just dont like the idea of being stuck to roads & roadcuts...why isnt there squat for public land in tejas???

I agree with you and I would love to do some serious night time herping OFF-ROAD! Greediness . . .that's why (there's so little PUBLIC lands - but tons of state parks). The more land they can sell - the more taxes they gain.
Yes it was a lot of fun none-the-less. I always enjoy going up there, and it was my first trip in 12 years.

Zee, that first Alterna you captured is a beauty. Looks alot like my Grey-band. Did you see and Trans Peco Ratsnakes or Bairdi Rats while you were out there? I know that must have been an awesome trip. Here's a pic of my alterna. Without a doubt the most laid back serpent I own. Here's a pic of my only alterna.
