Shedding Question: Please Help

My snake has been in "shed" for a week now. He had a pink tummy and looked as if he were going opaque. He has been in his hide for a week straight, doesn't come out at all. Is this normal? How long does it take a ball to go through the shedding process?

spray the enclosure with warm water and wait...snakes fine.
