Question about Hatchling Growth and Maturity rates

Mad_1234 Jun 11, 2005 12:41 PM

I have two, four month CB pietschmanni. When they hatched they were approx. 2 inches long and have grown to four inches in four months. Is this the average growth rate that people have observed? Also at what time should I be able to determine their gender?

Sounds like they are pretty much growing at the same rate as two juveniles I got back in around february.I noticed just last month I was able to see that one had a bulge and is a male and the other is a female,i'd say at around 6 months you should be able to tell give or take a month or so.
