Anyone have any pictures of the first strain of albino emorys rat snake? What did they look like? I have not seen any pictures of them. Only familiar with the new strain.
thanks,

There are two genes for the most part that cause a snake to be amelanistic. A snake can be a "t-" or a "t " albino, with the "t-" trait being more common. I am not sure if there are any t albinos Great Plains Rat Snakes. I have a pair of amelanistic P. g. emoryi that I will be breeding next spring. I will try to post a picture of them later today.
I have included a link for you on the subject.

Albinism in Snakes
Thanks for the link reason why I asked about the older strain Kathy Love has breeds them and on her site she says they are not compatiable with the older strain. Most albino emorys I have seen look so much like corns lol they are the only legal corn I can keep where I am at.
thanks,
john
