FBT has eye issue

herpdude20 Jun 11, 2005 04:02 PM

Please help. One of my FBT's has become discolored (a grayish green) and his eyes have what I think is maybe a bacteria over them. They have become sunken into his head. I can't find anyone that knows what is going on or what I need to do to fix this. He has always been healthy until this happened. My other two FBT's appear to be normal with no health probs. Does anyone know what this is, what I need to do to fix and how to prevent in the future. Thanks.

Buy anti-bacterial drops from the Fluker's company---they come in a little bottle and are called "Repta Rinse", originally designed to put in infected turtle eyes, but I used them on my White's treefrog, who had both eyes infected with some sort of bacteria, and in a week it had cleared up completely! I got my bottle at PetSmart.

Good luck and keep posted, ok!
