Some Yearling Lipstick Sunglow Photos!!! ......

Amanda_Burke Jun 11, 2005 05:44 PM

It was nice outside today so my dad took some pictures of this girl. She and her sister just turned one year old a few weeks ago and we're really pleased with how they're coming along!

This next one is a little far away, but I like it because she looks like she's in the jungle! lol

And the sun went behind the clouds in this one, but I think her coloring came out the most accurate here. Those aren't thorns on the branch, by the way, they are just sprouting bamboo leaves! lol

And here is a week-old picture of her sister, who was going into a shed in this shot. Now she's completely clouded so she wasn't invited to today's photo shoot! IMO, she's the nicer of the two girls. The color on her is more of a solid red, whereas her sister above has more of a lacy coloring on her sides.

Thanks for looking!

I'm sorry to hear you're having a rough season so far. Boas can definitely be humbling, but I wish you the best of luck for the rest of the season and next year!

I LOVE their coloration!! Are you guys going to be producing any more of those this year? I want one BAD!! They have insane coloration...that "in the jungle" shot is too cute LOL!

I took some new pictures of my Coral girl I got from you guys but I wasn't thrilled with how they turned out. I might try again today and post some pictures if I can get anything that does her justice!

Thanks for sharing those pictures!!

We are definitely *hoping* for more like them this season! lol Their mom is looking very large so we're holding our breath waiting to see what she's hiding in there! But, I'm kind of superstitious I guess, because I try not to expect anything until it's actually squiggling around at the bottom of the cage. Kind of a "don't count your chickens before they hatch" mentality! lol
Thanks again for the kind words!

That when you produce an AMAZING litter like that... you get to hand pick the best of the best to keep around

What more can you ask for... god I love boas... especially when they look like THAT! Thanks for sharing Amanda...

The best part of having babies is most definitely being able to pick out which ones to keep for ourselves! lol It's a good thing that my dad and I can talk some sense into each other though, because if it were up to me, we'd never let go of any of our babies!

What's really funny is that someone on this boa forum realized that I was joking. Must be an East coast thing Amanda.LOL

Tell big poppa he's selling me a lipstick this year or I'm taking you out on a date. Now I know he'll sell me one for cheap. Actually, I think he'll give me one for free.LMAO
